Salome is a genre of masks that are derived from the ladies of Cinquecento (the period of Titian), who covered themselves in jewels, expensive clothing and elaborate coifs. Today, these masks are popular in the Venice Carnival.

This mask is decorated in black, white and gold, with two silk tassles.
