Hi,
You're receiving this email because {name} thinks the Biscotti Jar Ricco Deruta would interest you.
This is a gorgeous hand-painted Italian ceramic Biscotti jar with lid. The design is the very traditional 'Ricco Deruta' pattern that dates back to medieval times. On the front of the jar is of course the label 'Biscotti' . On each side there is a lion's head in green and two handles decorated in a yellow with brown bars and painted green on the inside.
The mouth of the jar measures 100mm wide, so that is plenty enough to put your hand in and retrieve cookies!
On the base of the jar the artist has inscribed by hand the where the jar has been made and painted. 'MOD' stands for 'Majolica of Deruta' and 'Deruta' followed by 'Dip. A Mano', which translates from Italian to 'Painted by Hand'.
