This set has been hand painted in the small Italian town of Deruta, in the Umbrian province in the 'Corallo' design.  Corallo (coral red) refers to the red colour in the design which also includes the signature pattern of foliage and fruit.

The salt and pepper pots stand 70mm high and the container 120mm high and each one has been hand painted, including the Italian words 'Sale' for salt and 'Pepe' for pepper.

Each salt and pepper shaker includes a plastic stopper in the base.
