Positano

Positano was once a part of the Republic of the Amalfis, a sea rival of Venice in the 12th century.  The small town clinging to the steep hillside has a proud history.

Since then it has progressed from being a tranquil fishing village community to a top tourist destination for the rich and famous.  It now boasts posh hotels, elegant shop windows and stylish dining to support the most refined of tastes.  For the rest of us, it is an amazing tourist destination to visit and sitting on the beach and soaking up the picture perfect surroundings is absolutely free!
